No. Hospice provides medical care through a team of healthcare professionals, while a death doula offers non-medical support. I work alongside hospice, palliative care teams, and other providers to help address emotional, practical, and personal needs.

There is no "right" time. Some people reach out while planning ahead, while others seek support after receiving a serious diagnosis or when a loved one is actively dying. The earlier we connect, the more time we have to explore wishes, create plans, and build support.

A legacy project is a meaningful way to preserve memories, stories, values, and personal history. This may include life story interviews, letters, recordings, memory books, playlists, or other keepsakes that can be shared with loved ones.

No. I also support individuals who want to prepare for the future, have important conversations with loved ones, create legacy projects, or process anticipatory grief before a loss occurs.

I am based in Marin County and serve individuals and families throughout the surrounding area. Virtual support may also be available depending on your needs.
